Glens Women hold the Blues at The Oval

Glentoran Women held Linfield Ladies to a 1-1 draw at the Oval tonight leaving Linfield 3points behind Sion Swifts with a game in hand and an inferior goal difference of 11.

Glentoran took the lead through Makyla Mulholland with Glens keeper Emma Higgins making a crucial penalty save, but what a week it has been for Ashley Hutton who equalised late for NI vs Wales did the same with a header to take the League title race into the final week.

This Wednesday Linfield entertain Comber Rec Ladies at New Midgley Park while Sion Travel to The Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium to take on Derry City Ladies in what will be Sion's final game of the season.
