Glentoran Women and Northern Ireland winger Caragh Hamilton's season comes to an end after ACL, MCL and torn meniscus injuries.
The pacy winger shall now undergo surgery when has cut short her great start to the season with Glentoran Women who sit top of the Danske Bank Women's Premiership after six games played.
In a statement from Caragh...
"Sadly during our most recent league game last Wednesday I tore my ACL, MCL & meniscus and now await surgery and a lengthy recovery period following. As gutting as it is, it’s a part of competitive sport, and like anything in life it can bring you the highest highs and the lowest lows and you have to embrace every part of it, good and bad. Thank you to everyone who has sent a message of support and encouragement, it has been so humbling to see how much people care and how they can pick you up when you are down."
We at CSX Sports would like to wish Caragh the best and a swift recovery over the next lot of months.
