Versatile Northern Ireland and Rangers Women player Demi Vance unfortunately has her playing season cut shot due to injury and the need for surgery.
In a statement by Demi:
"Unfortunately my domestic and international season has come to an end and I now wait on surgery to fix my ACL. Like everybody else, I can’t quite work out the reasons for the year that has been 2020. As gutting as it is, I have to believe that everything happens for a reason and I will continue to stay positive through the highs and the lows that will happen throughout this long process.
Thank you to my NI teammates and staff for all the support, I have the best people around me. My recovery has already started to come back fitter and stronger.
But, for now it’s time to get behind the girls for Tuesday against Faroe Islands and secure our play off spot we undoubtedly deserve for Euro 2022!"
